Chief Executive Officer
Lester Brafman is CEO of PrinceRidge and IFMI, PrinceRidge’s parent company. Prior to joining IFMI, Lester most recently served as a Managing Director of Leveraged Finance Sales at Goldman Sachs, covering accounts for leveraged loans, bonds, and CDs. In this role he managed a team of salespeople responsible for sourcing and selling assets to banks, including leverage loans, commercial real estate (CRE) loans, CRE loan portfolios, and portfolios of aviation loans.
During his 11-year tenure at Goldman Sachs, Lester also served as Chief Operating Officer of Credit and Mortgage Trading, and prior to that as Head of High Yield and Distressed Trading. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2001, he spent over six years at Credit Suisse First Boston, holding numerous roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as Head of High Yield Trading, and previously Head of Emerging Market and Sovereign Trading. Lester also spent several years at Wasserstein Perella & Co. and Lehman Brothers. He received a B.A. at Columbia University and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College.
Joe McCann is Vice Chairman. Joe has done structured credit restructurings and advisory projects, loan portfolio sales and acquisitions, private placements, common and preferred stock raises, loan originations, swaps and CDPC commutations and sales.
From 2010-2011, Joe was a limited partner and co-head of financial institutions at StormHarbour Securities. From 2008-2010, Joe was the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Fusion Advisory Partners, a boutique investment bank focused on CLO M&A, loan sales, and CDPC commutations. Prior to co-managing Fusion, Joe was CEO and Chairman of a retainer-based financial institutions executive search firm named McCann Partners. He was with several other search firms from 1984-2008. Before becoming a search consultant, Joe worked for Bankers Trust Company and Marine Midland Bank/HSBC in debt capital markets, private placements and lending from 1981-1984. Joe received his BA from Lafayette College in 1975 and his MBA from Dartmouth’s Amos Tuck School in 1981. In addition, he served for two years with the United States Peace Corps in Honduras.
Head of Equity Capital Markets
David Batalion is a Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets.
David was previously an Executive Director at Cohen & Company Capital Markets and was responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of all public equity offerings including Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs). Prior to that, David was an Investment Banker at Sunrise Securities. He has over 10 years experience advising private and public companies in both equity and debt capital raising solutions. During his career, David has worked on more than $2 billion of equity financings. David received his BS in Finance from Yeshiva University.
Head of Financial Institutions Investment Banking
Keith Stock is a Managing Director and Head of Financial Institutions Investment Banking. He also serves as Senior Managing Director of First Financial Investors, Inc., a private investment and strategic advisory firm, and Senior Executive Director with The Brookside Group, an investment group based in Stamford, Connecticut.
Keith previously served as Chief Strategy Officer and member of the Office of the CEO of TIAA-CREF. From 2004 to 2008 he was President of MasterCard Advisors and a member of the MasterCard Worldwide Operating Committee and Management Council. Earlier in his career, Keith served as Chairman and CEO of St. Louis Bank, FSB, Chairman of Treasury Bank Ltd., and as a director of Severn Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:SVBI). He has also held senior partner roles with AT Kearney, Capgemini, Ernst & Young and McKinsey & Company after beginning his career with BNY Mellon. He received his AB from Princeton and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
Equity Capital Markets
Alejandro Videla is a Managing Director in Equity Capital Markets.
Prior to joining PrinceRidge, Mr. Videla worked at Wachovia, Fortis Bank and Société Générale, where he led a broad range of securitizations, structured credit transactions, restructurings and other asset/liability arbitrage and balance sheet management-related transactions. Prior to his MBA, Mr. Videla worked in investment banking and capital markets at Nomura Securities and Goldman Sachs based in Hong Kong and New York, respectively, where he focused on the origination and execution of capital market transactions, including several convertible bonds, IPOs and structured financings. Mr. Videla holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Renaud Pelletier is an Executive Director in Investment Banking.
Prior to joining PrinceRidge, Renaud served as Interim Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Financial Planning & Analysis at Marvista Entertainment. His previous experience includes two years as a Vice President in Bank of America’s Transportation & Logistics Group and prior to that, nine years with the Industrials Group at Wasserstein Perella/Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. His responsibilities included advising clients on a wide array of transaction types, including traditional mergers & acquisitions, cross-border transactions, takeover defenses, divestitures, spin-offs, public debt financings, goodwill valuations and restructurings. Renaud graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business, earning a BS in Economics from The Wharton School and a BA in International Studies from the College of Arts and Sciences.

Head of Middle Markets
Joe Castelluccio has over 35 years of Wall Street experience. He is a Managing Director and Head of Middle Markets. Joe specializes in bonds linked to various indices, baskets of equities, currencies, commodities and yield curve strategies.
Prior to joining PrinceRidge, Joe was the former Head of Structured Products at Maxim Group, where he was instrumental in developing and creating the structured products platform. Prior to his involvement in Structured Products, he was Senior Vice President of Fixed Income Sales and Trading at ICAP Securities, with trading responsibility for middle market and institutional accounts. Before joining ICAP, Joe spent the majority of his career at Prudential Securities, most recently as Senior Vice President of corporate bond trading where he managed the corporate bond trading desk for the firm’s retail and institutional accounts. He is a former president (1984-1985) of the Corporate Bond Traders Club of New York, a graduate of the College of Staten Island and is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Co-Head of ABS & Special Situations
Steve D’Agostino is Co-Head of ABS and Special Situations. This desk is responsible for CDO and ABS trading as well as execution of new issue securitizations, including esoteric ABS, CLOs, and SBA government guaranteed securitizations.
Steve’s team also developed the firm’s structured finance modeling software. Prior to joining Cohen & Company, from 2003 to 2006, Steve served as Head of Technology and Analytics for the Structured Credit Products Group at Merrill Lynch. Before that, he held a similar position at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1999 to 2003. Prior to heading up analytics and technology efforts, Steve structured and assisted the trading effort for CMOs, CDOs, and other structured finance transactions at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1993 to 1997 and at Chase Securities from 1997 to 1999. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
Head of Debt Capital Markets
Michael McGovern is Managing Director and Head of Debt Capital Markets. He has over 25 years of experience in investment banking and debt capital markets, and has originated, structured and distributed leveraged and acquisition financings across a broad range of industries.
Prior to joining PrinceRidge, Mike was co-founder of Regian Capital Advisors, an investment banking advisory boutique. Previously, he was Managing Director and Head of US Leveraged and Acquisition Finance for HSBC. Before joining HSBC, Mike was a Managing Director at JP Morgan Chase, and for over 18 years held a variety of leadership positions including Head of Origination for Global Syndicated Finance and Head of Corporate Finance for Consumer and Healthcare Investment Banking. Mike holds a BS in Finance and Economics from Manhattan College and an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
Head of Rates
Thomas McHugh serves as a Managing Director and Head of Rates and the financing desk. His primary responsibilities at PrinceRidge include all TBA and Repo trading as well as structuring all liabilities for the firm.
Tom was most recently the Head of Liability Trading at Highland Financial Holdings Group, a relative value fixed income hedge fund. While at Highland, Tom managed the fund’s $15 billion high-grade, investment grade, and sub-prime MBS, ABS and CMBS funding books, and his responsibilities included: trading and structuring all liabilities; hedging the funds interest rate risk; oversight of the trade margining and exposure to counterparties; coordination of trade settlements; cash management and maintaining the trading and credit relationships with the broker dealer community. Tom was also instrumental in the negotiations of the credit terms within all trading agreements. Tom began his career with Morgan Stanley & Co. as an analyst on the municipal bond trading desk in both the NYC and San Francisco offices. He graduated from Lycoming College with a BA in Business Administration and Economics.
Co-Head of ABS & Special Situations
Plamen Mitrikov is Co-Head of the ABS and Special Situations Group. He is responsible for CDO and ABS trading, as well as execution of new issue securitizations, including esoteric ABS, CLOs and SBA government guaranteed securitizations.
Prior to joining PrinceRidge, Plamen served as an Executive Vice President at RAIT Financial Trust, a publicly traded commercial real estate REIT. From April 2003 to February 2006, Plamen held various positions, including that of Vice President and Director, in the structured credit products group at Merrill Lynch, specializing in trust preferred and asset-backed collateralized debt obligations. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Plamen worked in the structured credit groups at Credit Suisse First Boston from January 2001 to March 2003 and Prudential Securities from November 1999 to December 2000. He has been involved in structuring numerous asset classes: equipment leases, home equity loans and other consumer ABS. Plamen holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University and a B.A. in Economics and Physics from Franklin and Marshall College.
