The PrinceRidge Group LLC, the new institutional client-oriented broker-dealer founded by John Costas (Chairman) , Michael Hutchins (CEO), Ahmed Alali, Colette Dow, Ronald Garner and Matthew Johnson, has named William Haley head of its asset-backed securities banking group, reporting to Ahmed Alali.
This ABS group will provide select clients with capital market advisory and execution services across the entire capital structure. Commenting on the opportunity, William Haley said, “Disruption in public and private ABS channels has created a need for intermediaries like PrinceRidge to provide advisory services and custom-tailored financing packages that will facilitate and deepen client access to investors in senior and subordinated securities, as well as the whole loan market.”
Mr. Haley brings more than 25 years of financial services industry experience to PrinceRidge. He is a highly accomplished executive who has worked extensively in building profitable capital market businesses. Mr. Haley has served a diverse roster of financial service clients, often in turbulent market conditions.
Prior to joining PrinceRidge, Mr. Haley served as corporate managing director and group executive at ABN Amro where he ran investment-grade capital market origination.
From 1996 to 2003, Mr. Haley was a managing director and head of frequent issuer ABS coverage at J.P. Morgan Chase. His resume also includes management roles at Prudential Securities, Lehman Brothers and Salomon Brothers.
